Town Hall with Congresswoman Bonamici Saturday August 3rd, 2019!

You might know that we are trying to lobby our congress member to support our community in this tough times with threats of war, crippling sanctions that has created lots of pain for people back home and the travel ban that has negative impacts on travel of parents and students and their relatives.  There are some that have to travel to peace park in Blain to see their parents who come from Iran to Canada. Our first Town Hall with Congressman Blumenauer was great success, and Congresswoman Bonamici approached and showed interest to have a special own hall with Iranian community of her constituents.

So our second step is another Town Hall this time with Congresswoman Suzzane Bonamici (OR-1) on 

• Saturday August 3rd, 2019 at 1:30 PM – 3 PM Griffith Park Building-Conf Room 330, 4755 SW Griffith Dr, Beaverton, OR 97005

The format is similar to the previous one with Blumenauer. We like around 10 Iranian Americans to tell their stories as it relates to threats of war and travel ban and other ethnicity and immigrant related issues. Then there will be Q/A and asking from Congresswoman to help the community in resolving these problems.
